Today's Ideas:
for morning of Wed. April 2, 2008

IMPORTANT: Below is what we're looking at currently, but pay attention to our UPDATES on the side of each page for actual entry/exit times and prices. Refresh pages often! You will witness our winners AND losers; something that is rare in our business.    TO VERIFY ACTUAL PRICES AND TIMES, PLEASE CLICK ON  A TICKER ENTRY TO THE RIGHT.  ALL TRADES, WHEN THEY OCCURED, ARE VIEWABLE.

Whenever possible, we have included the ETF symbol for those who are not experienced trading futures, etc.

    Position Update:

Stocks are trading higher again this morning. We we able to buy 1 unit WEAT etf on the London Stock Exchange at $4.8450 and so far so good. We always look for opportunities to add to winning situations and we'll do the same here. Initially we were looking to the DBA etf, but we prefer futures or single idea etfs. As stated yesterday, we believe just about ALL asset classes have entered a "wide sideways consolidation" period. We'll trade on the same side of the bigger trends, and look to get involved when the ranges get tested, for a regression back to the center. The good news is that this environment should provide some great trading opportunities. It's important not to dwell on our longer term opinions of the economic environment, and instead take the setups as they present. We'll disregard the news headlines more than usual. Within this strategy, we feel it's still too soon to shorts stocks (or go long SRS), although we are getting very close to a signal. Stay focused and we'll inform of actions taken, which we expect to occur tomorrow after the ISM services # at 10 am.

Position update as of 11:17 am:

Long 1 unit WEAT etf on the LSE ($4.8450)

Long 1.25 units Coffee etf on the LSE ($3.26)

Long 1/2 unit Cotton etf on the LSE ($2.64)

Trading Accounts equity < 5.0% from all time highs
