Today's Ideas:
for morning of Thurs. Feb. 28, 2008

IMPORTANT: Below is what we're looking at currently, but pay attention to our UPDATES on the side of each page for actual entry/exit times and prices. Refresh pages often! You will witness our winners AND losers; something that is rare in our business.    TO VERIFY ACTUAL PRICES AND TIMES, PLEASE CLICK ON  A TICKER ENTRY TO THE RIGHT.  ALL TRADES, WHEN THEY OCCURED, ARE VIEWABLE.

Whenever possible, we have included the ETF symbol for those who are not experienced trading futures, etc.

    Position Update:

SRS triggered and "add" signal this morning and we bought 1 more unit at $106.08. If readers check the archives, they will see we were buying SRS at much lower prices yesterday. People are often afraid to add at higher prices, but it's a better strategy than averaging down. We're looking for the next chance to add, and will not exit unless stopped out, or we get a sell signal. Several readers asked "why wouldn't we take profits?" or "when do you want out?". Regardless of whether or not this trade works, professionals look to add to good situations (when they're up, they press winners). It took us a long time to get used to doing it that way, but it has added to the bottom line immensely.

Sugar is going positive as we type, after being slightly lower all morning. Stay long, and keep an eye on the whole commodity complex for opportunities to get long safely. Good luck.

Position update as of 11:22 am:

Long 4 units SRS (avg. price $103.969)

Long 3 units SB (May contract avg. price .13119)

Trading Accounts equity at .14% away from all time highs.
