Today's Ideas:
for morning of Mon. Feb. 4, 2008

IMPORTANT: Below is what we're looking at currently, but pay attention to our UPDATES on the side of each page for actual entry/exit times and prices. Refresh pages often! You will witness our winners AND losers; something that is rare in our business.    TO VERIFY ACTUAL PRICES AND TIMES, PLEASE CLICK ON  A TICKER ENTRY TO THE RIGHT.  ALL TRADES, WHEN THEY OCCURED, ARE VIEWABLE.

Whenever possible, we have included the ETF symbol for those who are not experienced trading futures, etc.

    New Update:

It's possible we'll have "continuation setup" in the NQ futures (QLD) long, or the ZB (bonds) short. This would be a short term opportunity to reap some profit from last week's momentum. Our larger and much more important focus will be on tomorrow's setups in both SRS, and SKF long. These positions will be accumulated to several units, and at least a multi-day trade, unless they are stopped out. This is not a trade to miss, and we're going to participate fully. Take a breather today, and save energy and buying power for the times that really skew in our favor. Tomorrow and Wednesday is just that scenario.

As we type, the NQ (QLD) trade is bouncing, so we might not even get a good risk/reward entry today. In any case, if we do get the trade, do not trade too heavy or with too wide of stops. Keeping your head straight and prepared for the best opportunities is one of the ways a trader optimizes performance over time. Basically, pick your battles carefully. Good luck this week!

Position update as of 10:08 am:

Long 3 units SB (Sugar avg. price .11008)
