Today's Ideas:
for afternoon of Wed. Mar. 5, 2008

IMPORTANT: Below is what we're looking at currently, but pay attention to our UPDATES on the side of each page for actual entry/exit times and prices. Refresh pages often! You will witness our winners AND losers; something that is rare in our business.    TO VERIFY ACTUAL PRICES AND TIMES, PLEASE CLICK ON  A TICKER ENTRY TO THE RIGHT.  ALL TRADES, WHEN THEY OCCURED, ARE VIEWABLE.

Whenever possible, we have included the ETF symbol for those who are not experienced trading futures, etc.

    Position Update:

We managed to sidestep much of the listless action today. We did hop on a FWLT buy signal, but exited near the close at a tiny profit. The main lesson is that we exited, whether up or down on the position, because it was just sloshing around with the indexes. Being our position on the indexes is such that we will only consider them shorts, we do not see the need for exposure overnight. We'll be happy to take what opportunities are presented in the morning, especially considering there are might be "short side" setups we'd really like (SRS).

Commodities had another great day. It bears repeating, that the only consideration is when to buy? We urge readers to think this way so that they will not lose capital on low percentage trades, but more so that they can benefit from a major tide.

We suspect we'll see some great opportunities in the names we've been mentioning, so for now keep the list handy. We'll be referring to it frequently over the next several days. Good luck.

Position update as of 4:04 pm:

Bought 1 unit FWLT at $65.44, sold 1 unit FWLT at $65.58

Long 3 units SB (May contract avg. price .13119)

Trading Accounts equity < 1% from all time highs.
