Today's Ideas:
for morning of Wed. Feb. 27, 2008

IMPORTANT: Below is what we're looking at currently, but pay attention to our UPDATES on the side of each page for actual entry/exit times and prices. Refresh pages often! You will witness our winners AND losers; something that is rare in our business.    TO VERIFY ACTUAL PRICES AND TIMES, PLEASE CLICK ON  A TICKER ENTRY TO THE RIGHT.  ALL TRADES, WHEN THEY OCCURED, ARE VIEWABLE.

Whenever possible, we have included the ETF symbol for those who are not experienced trading futures, etc.

    New Update:  Sugar Chart

Besides the occasional short term day trade, we've been very quiet. We're waiting for some resolution to the choppy market action, and it's just a matter of time. Being patient is crucial during these times. The indexes are up and down in a very tight range, even though some individual trades are closer to setting up. We still look to names like SRS, SKF, EEV, and the commodity complex.

Most of the gains in accounts have been from Sugar futures climbing steadily. Today, the agriculture commodities are lower, but we are not yet taking a new position (or adding). In any case, the only decision is "when?" to go long commodities. As we've said on many occasions, shorting commodities is not a preferred trade setup. Don't try to catch the turn lower, instead form a game plan to get long!

Position update as of 9:49 am:

Long 3 units SB (May contract avg. price .13119)

Trading Accounts equity at .2% away from all time highs.
