    Morning update

Still on the prowl for the setup I've been looking for since late last week. We can never be sure if or when they trigger, but this is a game of patience. I'll remind readers that the specific instrument traded is not as important as how we see the trade through. So, again I'll look to trade "market related" vehicles such as the SRS, SDS, SKF etfs, as well as stock index futures (S&P500 minis) and the single commodity etfs and futures. This is not to say I'll trade ALL of the above, but more likely focus on 1 or 2 as they signal.

Regarding commodities, I have yet to stop out of the WEAT etf, but will do so if it triggers. Please visit the positions page to see the full list. I expect to be able to purchase the SUGA etf, or Sugar futures on a signal in the next few days. COTN is close to giving an "add" signal as well. We've been hearing a lot about how the commodities boom is over, but I'll simply state that we need to respect the trend, above all else. If stopped out, fine, but put the odds in your favor. After all, trading is about odds before, during, and exiting a trade. Importantly, save our long term analysis for a trade that's appropriate. Many traders analyze, then trade in different time frames. Yes, commodities COULD be done because of a slowing economy, but is that going to take hold by next Tuesday? You can easily see the pitfall of "macro" analysis for "trading" time frames! Only use information and analysis that is appropriate for each specific setup.

Good luck and stay focused. I am hoping the signal we've been tracking is close at hand.
